Characters

This issue of Characters, a periodical published by Esmat, explores the
social and historical significance of heavy feelings when writing film
criticism. It includes nine articles of film criticism that answer the
question “how can we write about (film) characters who leave us with a
feeling of heaviness?” The writing centers the ideological and social
significance of emotions.
